Meet Our Team
Zweli Ndese
With 25 years of practical experience in the mining industry, Zweli possesses extensive hands-on knowledge and technical expertise in various aspects of mining operations, with a focus on underground deep-level mining. Having advanced through the ranks, he has a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale mining operations as both a General Manager and Regional General Manager in prominent mining companies. His passion lies in driving continuous improvements in safety, productivity, and cost-efficiency to enhance the resilience of mining businesses.
Throughout his career, Zweli has held several significant positions at leading mining companies in the South African mining industry, including Regional General Manager for Section 2(A) (2) appointment in Mining Operations for three years, General Manager for Section (4(1) appointment in Mining Operations for nine years, and various middle management and mining production supervisor roles in production for 13 years.
In terms of education, he holds a National Higher Diploma (NHD) obtained in 1998, a Mine Managers Certificate earned in 2001, and an MBA acquired in 2015.
Johannes Coetzer (JC)
JC is a mining professional with over two decades of experience in the industry, having worked his way up from an entry-level position to a successful mining production leader. He is well-regarded for his ability to lead high-performance teams and has a proven track record of achieving production targets, cost reduction, and improving safety records.
JC has held various management roles across the Platinum sector, where he is known for his turnaround strategies and high-performance standards. He possesses extensive knowledge of mining production processes and procedures and has experience in managing and optimizing mining operations to achieve production targets while reducing costs. JC has demonstrated his ability to lead and motivate high-performance teams to deliver results. With strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail, he excels in identifying and solving complex problems.
JC holds a Mine Overseer Certificate of Competency and is currently busy with his Mine Manager’s Certificate.
